Arts Night Detailed Information-compressedArts Night for 2nd and 3rd Grade is THIS Thursday, May 16th from 6:00 – 7:45pm. Please take a moment to review important details below and attached. We look forward to seeing you there!
Line Up and Performance Times: Your student will line up in line-order at the Pre-K playground for their music performance. There will be a cone with your homeroom teacher’s name.
- 2nd Grade: 6:00 Line Up; 6:10 Performance; 6:20 Choir Performance
- 3rd Grade: 6:30 Line Up; 6:40 Performance; 6:50 Choir Performance; 7:00 Show Choir Performance
Art Gallery: The school will be open from 6:00 – 7:45pm to view art around the building. Scan the QR code by the playground doors and amphitheatre steps to view the concert program and the location of your student’s art in the building! 2nd Grade should see their art after they perform. 3rd Grade should see their art before they perform.
Attire: Students may wear something nice that they enjoy! Please no pajamas or costumes.
BYOC: Bring your own chair! We will be performing outside and will have some chairs set up, but please have an option with you unless you’d like to stand.
Food: We will have three food options available this year including food that can be purchased on site as well as food available for pre-order. Tables & chairs will be set up on the basketball court.
- Hilana Jerusalem Falafel — Pre-made falafel wraps can be purchased on-site or pre-ordered. To preorder, text your name, toppings, and pickup time to 202-867-6382. The earlier you can pre-order the better, especially if you have custom orders based on food allergies.
- Fly Pizza — You can pre-order from Fly Pizza using the QR code & link in the attached flyer. Place your order by noon on Wednesday (ignore the 5 day deadline) and make sure to select Lafayette as your pickup location as there are multiple event locations. Fly Pizza might have pizza available for purchase on-site, pending availability based on the number of pre-orders.
- Potomac Pizza — Our fan favorite, Potomac Pizza, will be available for sale by the slice.
