ONE SCHEDULE CHANGE FOR MUSIC ROOM RECITAL DAY! If your student has music on Day 6 (BELL, MARTIN, KING, FIELD) your student’s Recital Day will be on Monday, November 27th!
2nd-5th grade Music Class Recital Day #1 is coming up in November! Recital Day is an optional, mini in-class talent show where your student can perform for their classmates! Singing, dancing, performing a piece on an instrument, telling jokes, the options are endless! Students will be learning about Recital Day in music class and are also signing themselves up in class if they choose. It is a really great way for students to start performing for an audience on a small scale and to learn about audience etiquette.
If your student would like to show us something that cannot be done in the classroom (i.e. skateboard tricks, baking tutorials) you can send me a video at and I will play it in class that day! Your student may ask you to bring in props, instruments or items from home for their act; they can store them in the music closet for that day!
