DOT DAY is coming September 15th! Lafayette joins millions of kids around the world to celebrate the message contained in Peter Reynolds’ book “The Dot”. On September 15, we will wear dots, create with dots and play with dots as we read Reynolds’ book about the power of creativity, about having the courage to “Make Your Mark” and about passing kindness and encouragement onto others! It’s a fantastic way to kick off our school year!
We need volunteers both before dot day to help us hang art and prepare the school, and during the recesses on dot day to run art stations on the playground. Please sign up to help at Back-to-School Night at the Art Class Table or e-mail or with the times you are available to lend a hand. Thank you for helping us make it a true celebration!!!
