For those not familiar with the group, Lafayette Gives Back is a group of community service-oriented parent volunteers who provide needed items to families at both Lafayette and Takoma Elementary, a Title I school only a few miles away, as well as others within the DC community. 1) Starting Wednesday 10/4: Coat Drive to meet needs at our school and our sister school, Takoma Elementary. There will be a collection drop-off box at the front of school for gently used (or new) items: jackets, hoodies, sweatshirts, winter hats, gloves, scarves, warm socks. We thank you for making sure that items are in dignity condition with no stains or rips. Please click here to see how you can help organize the donations and deliveries!

2) Grocery cards for Lafayette families who benefit from Ms. Diesner’s support: Please click here to donate.
3) Lafayette families have been providing meals for Mr. Benab, our school registrar among other roles, as he has undergone a long-term medical issues. Sign up for the meal train here.
