In an effort to community build and make all Lafayette families feel welcome and valued, The HSA’s DEI committee is introducing the Lafayette Hello program this year. The first step of Lafayette Hello is to simply smile and say hello to each other! We encourage all kids and parents to greet one another, welcome any new families, and perhaps introduce ourselves to someone we’ve never met before. To kick off the program, we are looking for Lafayette Greeter volunteers to join us on Friday mornings to help greet fellow parents and students during morning line-up. It’s a quick and easy way to connect and make a difference. To volunteer, please click on the SignUp Genius link. For any additional questions, please email Alexandra and Rio directly at .
Moving forward, the HSA’s DEI committee will also be hosting various activities, such as Hikes, Media Club, Group Museum and Sport Outings, Wine Nights, Class Family Play Dates and Parent Potlucks. Look out for more information about how we can take this journey together to connect with one another.
