Music and Arts in Our Schools Month

March is Music and Arts in Our Schools Month, though we celebrate the arts every day here at Lafayette! We are planning a few special events this month:

• Art displays from every grade level will be hung around the building to show our learning in the Visual Arts
• Inspirational quotes about art and music will be posted around the building
• Interactive bulletin boards
• Student music class, choir, and band performance recordings played on the morning announcements
• Teacher/Staff performance video shown for students at lunch
• Culminating special event will be the Chicago Children’s Choir performance for grades 2-5 in early April

We can’t wait to celebrate the arts with you this month!
